I absolutely loved my stay at this charming country hotel, as it offered stunning scenery and easy access to local attractions, with Tollymore Park only about 3.5 km away and the beautiful Newcastle Beach just a pleasant walk of 2 km, making my city strolls so enjoyable.

Had a fantastic time with friends here! We enjoyed cycling in the beautiful surroundings and unwinding at the cozy honesty bar afterward. The self-serve breakfast had plenty of options, including vegan choices. The hosts were super friendly, making our stay feel special. Highly recommend checking out the stunning mountain views!
The coffee machine in our room was a bit tricky to figure out. It took some time to get it working, which was a minor setback for us.

Beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel.
The breakfast arrangements were entirely disorganized and frustrating. I had to rummage for plates and cutlery, which felt very unwelcoming.

great hospitality, but breakfast could improve
The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. The mountain view from our room was breathtaking, showcasing the serene beauty of the surrounding nature. The room itself was cozy, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep.
The breakfast setup felt a bit disorganized at times.

Great welcome drink and comfy room with flat-screen TV, but Wi-Fi was spotty.

The Three-Bedroom Cottage was spacious, and having a private jacuzzi was a nice touch! Loved that my dachshund could just run in and out—it felt super cozy. The beds were comfortable, but I could see how some folks might like softer pillows. It's really quiet, except for some lovely sheep sounds. The staff were always around if we needed anything. Perfect for a mini moon getaway!
